What is the difference between an N95 face mask and a P2 respirator?
N95 and the P2 respirators are essentially the same type of face particulate respirators and serve the same purpose.
These face masks protect you from airborne contaminants. The face mask forms a seal over the mouth and nose to achieve efficient filtration of airborne particles. The face mask must be fitted and adjusted correctly to your face to provide optimum protection.
In the USA, the term N95 is used. These respirators/masks are classified by NIOSH.
